It’s still a bit cumbersome, especially when you have to make a special gadget and have to build each separate part first. There I am reminded quickly of the inventory, which is now projected from the left hand. The Abyss added lots of news underwater (where we could also build bases since the last update) and Visions finally improved the variety of the worlds that can be created. Next finally offered real multiplayer in groups of four and the opportunity to design their character, as well as improved base construction. The Atlas Rises finally started to make some sense of the game’s action with lots of missions and dialogues, and allowed players to hang out online in limited form. The next update, Path Finder, added a ground vehicle, the ability to let other players see a copy of the bases you had built and a game mode where you lose everything permanently if you die (which in itself is ungrateful in No Man’s Sky’s unpredictable and slightly buggy world).
There were also two modes of play: Survival and Creative, which made the game more difficult and easier. With the Foundation we were given base construction, complete with new development trees, and also the opportunity to acquire space cruisers that serve as flying bases. I never felt really motivated to return until now, but in return, I practically got a whole new game.

But I still maintain that this game was brilliant at what was still there. However, we can fairly agree that they did not fulfill much of it.
